By KTM Metro Reporter

Speaker Subhas Chandra Nemwang informed the interim legislators in the brief session held on October 16 that the parliamentary operation management committee accepted the request of the seven-party alliance to call the special session on October 29, 2007.

Interim Head of State and Prime Minister had called the special session of the Interim legislator on October 11 in response to the petition filed by the CPN-Maoist along with CPN-Unified and CPN-United-Left-Front.

The special session of the Interim Legislature was scheduled to be held on October 14 and 15 but rescheduled for October 16 and 17 after the CPN-UML asked for the extension of deadline to register an amendment proposal acceptable to both CPN-Maoist and Nepali Congress by two days.
