Viswanathan Anand: Winner of World Chess Championship

Only a few weeks ago Viswanathan Anand won the world No 1 ranking title in the World Chess Championship held in Mexico. He had won the World Championship in 2000. But the world No 1 was a new thing. He did not lose any game to any other players thus became the undefeated player in the Championship. He felt that Boris Gelfand was a real threat to him but he managed to keep him at bay. For example, if he had lost the game against Alexander Grischuk in the 13th round, Gelfand would be just half a point behind him.
