A Museum Dedicated To Poet In Nepal

June 4, 2010: Indian ambassador Rakesh Sood has opened the Nepal Bhasha Parishad Building dedicated to the poet Chittadhar Hridaya at Naradevi in Kathmandu according to the news posted on Sify.com on June 4, 2010. India has provided Rs.5.24 million under its Small Development Projects Program for the renovation of the building as well as setting up the museum dedicated to poet Chittadhar Hridaya. Chittadhar Hridaya had written an epic on Gautam Buddha in Nepal Bhasha. His epic works called 'Sugata Saurabha' on the teachings of Gautam Buddha were written in the Nevah language’. He came to limelight after his works were translated into English under the aegis of Harvard University.
