Kathmandu: At the meeting held at the Baluwatar official residence of the prime minister, NC and Maoist-Center leaders as well as Rastriya Janata Party (RJP) leaders have agreed on reviving the process for passing the Bill on amendment to Constitution in the parliament putting it for debate and then for putting it to vote. RJP leaders are to accept whatever the result would be.
RJP leaders have been in a very good mood about taking part in the third-phase local election to be held in the province number two on September 18, 2017.
Visiting Indian foreign Minister Sushma Swaraj also has met with the RJP leaders and has advised them to participate in the election. So participation of RJP in the coming election has been almost sure.
Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba has committed to push the parliament to pass the Constitution Amendment Bill, and meet all other demands the government could meet so that RJP leaders could take part in the election.
