Political Stability In Nepal Benefit To India, Indian Envoy Ray

October 2, 2013: Speaking at an event held by the Nepal-India Friendship Association to welcome the newly-appointed Indian Ambassador in Kathmandu on Monday, Indian Ambassador to Nepal Ranjit Ray said, "Political stability in Nepal will have direct benefits to the Indian government and the Indian citizens. So, India wants political stability in Nepal. Political stability will open up door to economic development," according to the news posted on the ‘gorkhapatraonline.com’.

 

The Indian diplomat also has said that instability in Nepal will have adverse effects on India; so, both the countries should work together for political and economic stability.

 

Ambassador Ray further said that the government of India was ready to hold talks openly and transparently in each and every issue for stability and development of both the countries.

 

Ambassador Ray has said that the age-old relationship between Nepal and India should be taken to a new height.
