Turning Over Alleged Murders To Chitwan Police

September 10, 2011: The Kathmandu Metropolitan Police Crime Investigation Division yesterday has turned over Shiva Paudel: president of Nepal Tarun Dal Chitwan district chapter affiliated to Nepali Congress, and two others arrested in Kathmandu allegedly for their involvement in killing Sanjay Lama: activist of Youth Association Nepal (YAN) affiliated to CPN-UML according to the news posted on ‘thehimalayantimes.com’.
On Friday, the Kathmandu Metropolitan Police have arrested Shiva Paudel and his accomplices such as Pramesh Rai and Sajan Gurung, both district members of Tarun Dal at Kalanki and airlifted to Bharatpur for legal proceedings.
The police have said that most probably the murder of Lama has been due to the hostility between YAN and Tarun Dal in Chitwan.
