Prachanda Opens Third Day Of Yoga Camp

March 29, 2010: Chairman of UCPN-Maoist Prachanda has opened the third day of Yoga Camp run by yoga guru Ramdev at Tundikhel in Kathmandu today. Yoga guru Ramdev has been running a six-day yoga camp in Kathmandu starting on Saturday, March 27, 2010, and giving lessons on yoga to more than 40,000 participants at the open place in Kathmandu. The objective of running the yoga camp is to make the people physically and mentally fit and make them peace loving and change their life style to a peacefully living and let them enjoy the precious human lives longer practicing yoga.

Yoga guru Ramdev is giving yoga lessons to schoolchildren on March 29, 2010 gratis. He believes yoga teaching at schools is very important so that kids could start practicing yoga at early age and remain physically fit throughout their lives practicing yoga.

Yoga guru Ramdev is opening three yoga centers in Nepal at the cost of about Rs 80 million. He is investing all the money he has made from the yoga camps in Nepal in setting of such yoga centers in Nepal.

Yoga is an ancient physical fitness practice. Some Nepalese yoga experts believe that yoga has originated in Nepal. It has nothing to do with any religion. It has two main components: physical and mental exercises. Both the exercises are keeping the mind and body fit at all the time of a human life.
