Trade talks Between Nepal And Bangladesh

July 15, 2010: the Nepalese trade-talks team and the Bangladeshi trade-talks team have completed the talks between the two countries in Dhaka, Bangladesh today according to the Bdnews24.com. The secretaries to ministries level trade talks are held to discuss the trade interests of the two neighboring countries. The teams have had talked about the removal of non-tariff barriers on common export items and access to each other's markets. They also have talked about the possibility of linking the two countries by road through the Kakarbhitta-Panitanki-Phulbari-Banglabandh corridor. They also have ascertained the possibility of running bus services between Kathmandu and Dhaka.

They have considered the practicability of issuing ‘on arrival visas’ to the citizens of the both nations, and providing air cargo service for transporting perishable goods to both the countries.
