Nepal Government Lifts Embargo On Sending Laborers To Iraq

July 28, 2010: The Government of Nepal has today lifted a ban on sending Nepalis to work in Iraq. The government has done so to legitimize the 30,000 Nepalis already working in Iraq after the US contractors were demanded their staff were legitimately in Iraq according to the BBC NEWS. The Government of Nepal has put a ban on sending Nepalis to work in Iraq after the terrorists killed 12 Nepalis entering into Iraq for work in 2004.

The Government of Nepal has said that it has lifted the embargo on Nepalis working in Iraq after the US Central Command directed all companies working for it to remove workers not in compliance with local, international and US laws.
