Nepalese Soldiers For Guarding Kuwaiti Ruler

March 5, 2010: after the Kuwaiti officials have made a formal request for recruiting about 200 Nepalese soldiers for working as the royal guards in Kuwait, Nepalese ambassador to Kuwait Madhuvan Poudel has written a letter to the army headquarters through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on this matter according to the local media.
Kuwaiti officials want Nepalese soldiers serving at the Nepal Army and of the age less than 35 years have already in the service for about 15 years and have the special training on the security of VVIPs for serving in the royal guards Kuwait.
Spokesperson for the Defense Ministry has confirmed that the Kuwaiti government has asked for 150 to 200 serving soldiers for working as bodyguards in Kuwait, the Nepalese government is making preparation for sending the soldiers that meet the criteria after retiring them from the Nepal Army service.
Nepalese soldiers have earned the reputation of sincerely working hard and faithful to their boss. So, Nepalese soldiers are working in Singapore, Hong Kong and Brunei and so on.
