Intrusion Of Indian Police In Nepalese Territory

September 20, 2013: the government of Nepal has shown its concern over the Indian armed Police entering the Nepalese territory, and searching the house of a Nepalese citizen on the suspicion of a wanted person hiding there, to the Indian embassy in Kathmandu, and has asked the embassy officials to convey the message of not repeating such incidents in the future to the Government of India, according to the morning news aired by the state-run Radio Nepal today.

 

A few days ago, the Indian armed police enter the Nepalese territory in Gulariya of the Bardia district, and enter the house of a Nepalese citizen at night and forcibly searched the house for a suspect possibly hiding in the house. Neighbors informed the Nepalese police on the phone. The Nepalese police immediately showed up at the scene, and escorted the Indian police across the border, according to the local media reports.
