By KTM Metro Reporter

January 3, 2013: speaking at the opening function of the Sumeru Community Hospital at Dhapakhel of the Lalitpur district today, Prime Minister Dr Baburam Bhattarai has said that the different prescriptions of the traditional healer called ‘Vaidhya’ and modern medical professional called ‘Doctor’ have delayed in breaking the political deadlock in Nepal, according to the news posted on the website of ‘Nagarik News’ in Nepalis language of today.

Prime Minister Dr Bhattarai said that a 'big operation' had to perform for removing the old system. His party had launch a major operation to do so but it had to stop on its way; now, instead of scissoring out the old system, it is being treated with medicines, the prime minister said.

"As is the case in (the) health sector, it is very difficult to identify and cure the politico-sociological disease," he said, stressing the need for strengthening the cooperation between the government and the private sectors on fully implementing the government policy on providing the free health service to the citizens, according to the RSS news posted on thehimalayantimes.com today.
