Chinese Prime Minister Visiting Nepal In December

November 16, 2011: Talking to the reporters at his official residence, Prime Minister Dr. Baburam Bhattarai yesterday has revealed that Prime Minister of the People’s Republic of China Wen Jiabao is arriving in Nepal on December 20, 2011 for a three-day official visit; the Chinese Prime Minister’s visit to Nepal would ensure the international power balance, ‘The Rising Nepal’ of today writes.

‘The Rising Nepal’ quotes the prime minister, "We need to maintain a balance in our response at the international level to successfully conclude the peace process."

Dr. Bhattarai also has said that he is visiting China immediately after Wen’s Nepal visit.

Deputy Prime Minister holding the portfolio of Foreign Minister Narayan Kaji Shrestha is leaving Nepal for China on Nov. 25 to make preparations for the Wen’s visit to Nepal. Wen is the highest level Chinese leader to visit Nepal in a decade.
