BY KTM Metro Reporter in Kathmandu
March 3, 2010: speaking to the reporters before departing for India from Nepal on Tuesday, March 2, 2010, Leader of Communist Party of India-Marxist Sitaram Yechury has said that nothing is impossible in Nepal; we thought that the elections for the Constituent Assembly would not be held after the date for elections was postponed twice but the elections were held and the Constituent Assembly has been working smartly. Currently also, we don’t have an alternative to the completion of the constitution writing on time; it would happen. Concerning the change in the government, Mr. Yechury has said that it is up to the Nepalese people to change or not to change the government; the ongoing meeting of the High Level Political Mechanism would make decision on it.
Mr. Yechury has been in Nepal at the invitation of President Dr. Ram Baran Yadav and Prime Minister Madhav Nepal to soothe the belligerent mood of political leaders.
