Setting Up Constituent Assembly Court

November 12, 2013: following the request of the government for the names of justices for setting up a Constituent Assembly Court, the Judicial Council at the meeting held yesterday decided to recommended the names of three justices of the Supreme Court of Nepal, according to the news on the ‘gorkhapatraonline.com’

 

At the meeting presided over by the Acting Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of Nepal Damodar Prasad Sharma, the Judicial Council decided to recommend Justice Kalyan Shrestha for the chairman of the soon-to-be-formed Constituent Assembly Court, and Justices such as Girish Chandra Lal and Sushila Karki for the members of the Constituent Assembly Court that will hear the complaints about the second CA elections.
