Protest Against Killing Of Gadhafi In Bhaktapur

Issue 44, October 30, 2011

By KTM Metro Reporter

October 23, 2011: members of the Nepal Workers’ and Peasants’ Party (NWPP) and of its sister organizations such as Nepal Revolutionary Students Union and Revolutionary Youth Association have marched from the eastern end of the Bhaktapur town to the western end protesting against the killing of Gadhafi in Libya and then held a protest rally at the center of the town on October 21, 2011.

Protestors held banners and placards condemning the NATO for the death of Gadhafi. For the last eight months, NATO has been helping the anti-Gadhhafi forces in Libya to end the tyrannical regime of Gadhafi. Ultimately, the anti-Gadhafi forces had pulled Gadhafi out of the rainwater drainage where Gadhafi and his colleagues had taken shelter from the raining bullets of the anit-Gadhafi forces, and ultimately killed him.

Chairman of NWPP spoke against the NATO and the US for the death of Gadhafi, and charged the western countries with the murder of Gadhafi for taking the oil Libya has.
