By KTM Metro Reporter
August 10, 2012: Vice-chairman of CPN-Maoist CP Gajurel held a press conference in Kathmandu today to announce his party a third force not willing to align either with the opposition coalition or with the ruling coalition but claiming the power for itself. Good luck Mr. vice-chairman in a bid to power.
"We won't accept the leadership of the UCPN-Maoist, Nepali Congress or the CPN-UML. They have already failed. This is the third front. The UCPN-Maoist has formed an alliance to continue its government while there is another alliance pressing for NC-led government," said Vice-chairman of CPN-Maoist CP Gajurel at a press conference held to inform about the formation of the Federal Republican Front. Gajurel heads the Front, writes nepalnews.com.
The Mohan Vaidhya-led CPN-Maoist announced the formation of the front in an alliance with other left parties such as Revolutionary Communist Party of Nepal, CPN-Unified, Tamsaling Nepal, Rastriya Dal, Nepal Nagarik Party, Tharu Mukti Party and Jajamukti Party in a bid to capture the state power. Ironically, another CPN-Maoist led by Matrika Yadav did not appear on the list of the Federal Republican Front.
