Renowned Yoga Guru Ramdev In Nepal

March 27, 2010: President Dr. Ram Baran Yadav has opened the six-day yoga camp that prominent yoga guru Ramdev is running at Tundikhel in Kathmandu early in the morning today. After the opening of the yoga camp, yoga guru Ramdev has said that he wants to see Nepal a prosperous and powerful country. He has also said that Buddha was born in Nepal and Indians should not play any trick on this matter. The objective of the opening of the yoga camp is to create healthy and mentally strong people, and change their mindset and thinking.
The organizers of the yoga camp in Kathmandu have said that the Nepalese TVs will air the yoga teaching of Ramdev live. More than 40,000 people are participating in the yoga lessons that Ramdev is giving.
The organizers have also said that yoga guru Ramdev is not taking even a single rupee out of Nepal and is investing in Nepal for opening three yoga centers: one each in Kathmandu, Dhulikhel and Syangja at the cost of Rs 80 million. They are making Rs 25 million from the current yoga camp running at Tundikhel in Kathmandu. They have completed 70% of the construction work at the yoga center in Dhulikhel.
The organizers have also said that currently Nepal has 25,000 yoga teachers and they are planning to increase this number to 100,000 in the coming years.
