Make Anybody Prime Minister Except For Prachanda

Issue 18, May 2, 2010

By KTM Metro Reporter in Kathmandu

April 26, 2010: Prime Minister Madhav Nepal has said that he is ready to quit his lucrative job for making anybody a Prime Minister except for Prachanda. Such a statement might be a funny to some but a childish to many.

First of all, who is Mr. Madhav Nepal to dictate the legislature to make somebody a Prime Minister? The legislature needs to call an explanation on this matter from him for the contempt of the legislature, as it clearly goes against the rights of the legislature to make a decision on who is to be a Prime Minister of Nepal.

Currently, Prime Minister Madhav Nepal is sitting on the support of the family of the unprincipled 22 political parties. Madhav Nepal remains on the position of the Prime Minister as long as he enjoys this support. So, he will fall from the position immediately after those unscrupulous party leaders of 22 political parties take out their support for him.
