By KTM Metro Reporter

November 7, 2011: after four months of hibernation or giving company to Baliraja depending on your belief, on the day called Haribodhini ekadashi, Lord Vishnu has come back to the human world. In his absence Nepalis have worshipped Him in the Tulsi plant believing He has incarnated in it. So, Nepalis have performed fire worship to the Tulsi plant ending its divine status on the day called Haribodhini ekadashi: the eleventh day of the bright fortnight of Kartik (Oct-Nov) on November 6, 2011.

Elsewhere in Nepal, Nepalis have gone to the shrines and temples of Lord Vishnu to welcome Him back on earth yesterday. In Kathmandu, thousands of devotees visited Buddhanilkanth situated in the northern part of Kathmandu. Similarly, hundreds of devotees visited other shrines and temples elsewhere in Kathmandu and in Nepal to celebrate the return of Lord Vishnu.

On the eleventh day called Harisayani Ekadashi of the bright fortnight of Ashad (July), Lord Vishnu had left the human world to go on hibernation or to give a company to Baliraj depending on your belief. For four months, Nepalis had worshipped Lord Vishnu in the Tulsi plant when He had given a company to Baliraj or had slept. Finally, Lord Vishnu returned to the human world yesterday. So, the day is joyful to Nepalis.
