Regrouping Of Maoist Combatants

November 5, 2011: The Army Integration Special Committee (AISC) presided over by the prime minister held a meeting on Friday, November 4, 2011 and made a decision on completing the survey of the Maoist combatants and their regrouping by November 23, 2011 following the seven-point agreement the four political parties reached on November 1, 2011.
In the Friday meeting, the AISC has endorsed the work plan prepared by the secretariat. Following the plan, the survey teams will be at all cantonments by November 16, 2011. The process for the recruitment of manpower has been completed and training for them will be started on Saturday, November 5, 2011, ‘The Rising Nepal’ of November 5, 2011 writes.
