After Begam, Mahat For Using Muscle Power

On December 1, 2009, the Constituent Assembly (CA) Committee on Governance System And Election Process could not end the debate over the governance system and the electoral process even after voting on these issues, as Minister for Energy Dr. Prakash Sharan Mahat used his muscle power than his persuasion power to stop Chairman of the Committee Shambhu Hajara Dushad from reading out the decision of the committee. So-called honorable energy minister first shouted at the Committee Chairman for stopping him from reading out the committee decision, and then seized the paper from the Committee chairman and forcing him not to read out the decision on camera. Thus, the energy minister stopped short of hitting the Committee Chairman.
