By KTM Metro Reporter

June 8, 2012: speaking at the graduation function held at the Armed Police Force Training College Lampatan, Kaski district, Prime Minister Dr. Baburam Bhattarai said that the government would hold the next CA elections; so the APF would need to play a key role in the elections as the country was still in transition, ‘The Himalayan Times’ reports quoting the state news agency RSS.

Prime Minister Dr Baburam Bhattarai also ruled out the possibility of reviving the CA stating the Parliament was reinstated in 2063 BS following the People's Movement by using power vested on the King as per the Constitution of 2047 BS; the current Constitution does not bestowed such power on anybody; so, the CA revival is not possible according to the news posted on ‘The Himalayan Times’.

The UCPN-Maoist leaders are holding mass rallies at districts on June 15, 2012 obviously to prepare for the lections to the CA on November 22, 2012.
