A Taskforce Submits Its Report On Election And Governance Systems

November 15, 2011: A taskforce set up under the Dispute Resolution Sub-committee of the Constitutional Committee yesterday submitted a report on the election system and the governance to the Dispute Resolution sub-committee; coordinator of the taskforce Laxman Lal Karna has said that he has submitted the written report on the election system and governance system, it is now up to the Dispute Resolution Sub-committee to discuss it and finalize for including in a new constitution, ‘The Rising Nepal’ of today writes.
Chairman of UCPN-Maoist Prachanda is the coordinator of the Dispute Resolution Sub-committee. Prachanda has said that the sub-committee would start off discussion on the report on Thursday. He has said that the parties have agreed on keeping the report confidential until they build a consensus on this issue.
