Major Decisions Made By The Council Of Ministers

December 20, 2013: at a meeting of the Council of Ministers held yesterday, the council made decisions on constituting a five-member delegation led by the Director General of the Department of Electricity Development for receiving an assistance of approximately Rs. 2.92 billion from the Saudui Development Fund for the construction of the Budhiganga Hydroelectricity Project in the Achham district and to hold talks about it, according to the RSS news on ‘gorkhapatraonline.com’.
The Cabinet meeting decided to mint and issue a maximum of three thousand pieces of silver coins with the face value of one thousand rupees to mark the Diamond Jubilee of the National Museum and a maximum of four thousand cupro-nikel coins with a face value of Rs. 50 to mark the Diamond Jubilee of Nepal Scouts.
The Council of Ministers decided to hold the meeting of the Nepal-India Inter-Government Committee on Commerce in Kathmandu on December 21 and 22, participated in by a delegation led by the Secretary to the Ministry of Commerce and Supplies on behalf Nepal.
