January 3, 2011: Indian Ambassador to Nepal Rakesh Sood has hosted a luncheon at the India embassy in Kathmandu to celebrate New Year 2011 and offer an opportunity to the political leaders fighting over power, to patching up their differences, Zeenews.com reports quoting PTI.
Ambassador Sood has invited high-level politicians to the embassy for a lunch on Sunday, January 02, 2011, for making them possible to have an informal meeting and expressing their diverse views on the current political deadlock in Nepal.
Chairman of CPN-UML Jhalanath Khanal has said that he has been working on making three major political parties such as UCPN-Maoist, NC and CPN-UML join the new government.
Mr. Khanal ignores that his archrival KP Oli has met President of NC Sushil Koirala at the Maharajgunj residence of Koirala and they have agreed on electing the candidate of NC for a new prime minister, as the UCPN-Maoist has no chance of forming a new government.
