Parties End Boycotting Parliamentary Sessions

On April 15, 2009, the parliamentary session has gone smoothly, as the two major political parties such as NC and CPN-UML have stopped from boycotting the session after Prime Minister Prachanda addressed the parliamentary session and promised to meet their demands.
The NC has been boycotting the parliamentary sessions stating the government has failed to enforce the nine-point agreement it has reached with the government.
The CPN-UML has been boycotting the parliamentary sessions demanding to bring the assassin of its cadres in Butwal to justice.
However, they have been collecting the remuneration provided for attending the sessions.
Home Minister Bam Dev Gautam presented the Voters-list Bill ordained by the President; similarly, Minister for Law and Parliamentary Affairs Dev Gurung presented the Public Services Bill ordained by the President to the parliament according to the Neplnews.com mk Apr 15 09
