Benefits for Whips and Deputy Whips

On December 29, 2008, Constituent Assembly member belonging to Terai Madhesh Democratic Party Hridesh Tripathy strongly spoke against the government providing the Whips and the Deputy whips of almost all political parties representing in the Constituent Assembly with the benefits similar to the minister and the minister of state respectively.
The irony is that all the members of the Constituent Assembly including Mr. Tripathy however, collect the daily allowances and the travel allowances for all the days even when the Constituent Assembly members belonging to the Nepali Congress boycotted the Constituent Assembly sessions and the Constituent Assembly members did not work at all.
