Head Of State Pushing Leaders To Build A Consensus

December 4, 2012: Head of State: President Dr. Ram Baran Yadav invited the top leaders of the major four parties such as UCPN-Maoist, NC, CPN-UML and UDMF to his office today again, and told them to build a consensus on a unity government otherwise they would need to face the public humiliation.

The Head of the State also told the political party leaders to break the current political gridlock reaching a package deal on all unsettled issues concerning a new constitution.

The Head of state also sounded out whether he could use the Article 158 to remove all hurdles to run the administration and fill the vacant positions at judiciary and constitutional bodies that have been stalled after the dissolution of the CA that had been functioning as the parliament, too. Absence of the appointed official at the judiciary and the constitutional bodies has been adversely affecting effective running the state affairs.
