Additional Recruitment Of Police In Nepal

May 17, 2013: At the meeting of Council of Ministers of the Interim Election Council of Ministers held at Singh Durbar yesterday morning, the government decided to recruit additional 6,010 positions to add to the current existing 61,171 strengths of the Nepal Police.

 

After the cabinet meeting, Minister for Information and Communications also the government's spokesman Madhav Poudel informed that the additional slots of Nepal Police would mostly be used in the security of people’s highway, in transforming the temporary police posts into permanent ones, in the security of metropolitan city, and in setting up the security of justices and judicial heads following the decision of the government of Nepal, according to the news in ‘gorkhapatra’ of today.
