Saudi Arabian Prince In Nepal

November 16, 2010: in a meeting with officiating Prime Minister Madhav Nepal, Saudi Arabian Prince Al-Waleed bin Talal has said that his country will soon set up a consulate in Nepal, ‘The Rising Nepal’ of November 16, 2010 writes quoting Rajan Bhattarai: foreign affairs advisor to the Prime Minister. Mr. Bhattarai has also said that Saudi Arabia is thinking to set up an embassy in Nepal in the near future. Currently, Nepalis going to Saudi Arabia for work have to send their passports to the Saudi Arabian embassy in Bangladesh for visa. The Saudi Arabian Prince has shown keen interest in investing in Nepal in various sectors according to Mr. Bhattarai.

Saudi Arabian Prince Al-Waleed bin Talal and his 36-member entourage left Kathmandu for Riyadh today completing his four-day visit to Nepal; President Dr. Ram Baran Yadav has conferred on the Saudi Arabian Prince the highest honor any foreigner can receive, nepalnews.com writes.
