Rasuwagadi-Kerung Entry Point Goes International

Kathmandu: At an event held in Lhasa, officials of China and Nepal declared the Rasuwagadi-Kerung Entry Point on the border between China and Nepal as an international entry point effective on Wednesday, August 31, 2017, the news in “gorkhapatra” of today stated.
Both the countries will have their respective immigration office at this entry point for registering any person with a valid visa traveling from Nepal to China and vice versa, as it has been international entry point and any visitors from any countries could travel back and forth between China and Nepal.
This entry point will serve for China as a gateway to South Asia, and for India as a gateway to China and other central Asian countries. Thus, the dream of Nepalese leaders to make Nepal a bridge between china and India comes true, as this border entry point will serve as a bridge between China and India.
