Nepal Enters Semifinal In SAFF

December 7, 2011: the Nepalese team has entered the semifinal in the seventh South Asian Football Federation (SAFF) Championship after playing a 1-1 draw with Pakistan at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in New Delhi yesterday,
The Nepalese team had defeated the Bangladesh team and had drawn with the Maldives securing four points. the draw with Pakistan has enabled the Nepalese team to enter into the semifinal almost eliminating Pakistan from the championship.
In the game played yesterday afternoon, the Nepalese team had successfully and beautifully scored a goal at the Pakistani post at 37th minute of the game.Later the referee had awarded the Pakistani team a penalty kick giving a chance of scoring an equalizing goal.
