Minor Clashes with Police, Cadres, and Candidates

October 26, 2013: the Nepal Police clashed with the cadres of the NC when the police removed the flags of the NC from the unauthorized vehicles used by the NC candidate at Naubise in the Dhading district yesterday, the news in ‘gorkhapatra’ today says.
Cadres of the CPN-Maoist have vandalized the vehicle used by CPN-UML candidate Shanker Pokharel in Dang yesterday morning. The police have taken three cadres of the CPN-Maoist under control for damaging the vehicle.
In Taplejung yesterday morning, a group of the CPN-Maoist cadres launched a deadly assault on the UCPN-Maoist candidate Sanchapal Maden and his associates. The attackers took the five policemen guarding the candidate under control, and they looted the election materials, according to the ‘gorkhapatra’ news of today.
