District Election Office Conducts Voters’ Education

October 7, 2013: the Jhapa District Election Office has started voters’ education for the forthcoming elections to the Constituent Assembly (CA); as many as 767 volunteers of the three municipalities and 47 VDCs of the district have been holding the voters’ education starting on September 30, and it will last until November 15, according to the RSS news posted on the ‘gorkhapatraonline.com’.

 

Voters' education volunteers, teachers, and principals of the schools, and VDC secretaries and ward secretaries have been mobilized after imparting necessary training to them for the voters’ training.

 

Voters' education volunteers would reach doors voters and inform them about the importance of voting as well as the voting process whereas principals, VDC and Ward secretaries would give a detailed information on voting by holding gatherings of locals at their respective areas.
