China To Help Nepal In Reducing Trade Deficit With China

November 4, 2011: the Chinese delegation in Nepal has agreed on resolving the problems faced by the Nepalese traders at the border to increase the Nepalese export to China and then to reduce the trade deficit Nepal has with China according to the news posted on ‘The Rising Nepal’ of today.
Head of the Chinese delegation and Vice-chairman of the Tibet Autonomous Region (TAR) of China Wu Yingjie has welcomed the proposal put forward by the Nepalese Minister for Commerce and Supplies Lekhraj Bhatta for resolving the problems faced by the Nepalese exporters on the border between Nepal and China, and has said that the government of China is ready to resolve all the practical and process related problems on the border through the joint efforts of the two countries.
The Chinese delegation also has positively taken the Nepalese proposal for making Tinker border point as the transit point of Nepal, India and China.
Both the Chinese delegation and the Nepalese team have agreed on continuing bilateral talks at different levels in the coming days to facilitate the bilateral trade.
