President Holds A Dinner Party for Political Leaders

April 28, 2010: President Dr. Ram Baran Yadav has hosted a dinner party for the leaders of political parties represented in the Constituent Assembly on April 27, 2010 obviously for discussing the consensus politics. However, leaders of the UCPN-Maoists have not showed up in the dinner party.
President Yadav has said to the leaders attending the dinner party the need for the consensus politics to break the current political deadlock in Nepal. However, most of the political analysts have not forgotten that the current political deadlock is the result of the President abusing the Interim Constitution of Nepal of 2007 for directly writing a letter to the then army chief that has been fired by the elected then Prime Minister.
