November 22, 2010: Speaking at an interaction held by the Nepal Press Union Unit in Rupandehi in Bhairahawa on November 21, 2010, President of NC Sushil Koirala has said that behaviors of the Maoists in the parliament on Friday night have shown they are also following the Nepalese monarchy ended by the people’s power; he has also said that no force can stand against democracy, so the Maoists also will not stand against democracy and will soon disappear from the political scene, ‘The Rising Neal of November 22, 2010 writes.

President Koirala has also said that the government has to announce the budget through the presidential order to end the financial crisis after the Maoists have obstructed the parliament session held to announce the budget. 

Speaking at the sixth plenum of the UCPN-Maoist held at Palungatar in Gorkha on Sunday, November 21, 2010, Chairman Prachanda has said that his party will move forward for the decisive change, peace and constitution building, writes ‘The Rising Nepal of November 22, 2010 and quotes Prachanda, “We will not frustrate the people. We will move ahead for the decisive change, real peace and constitution building as desired by the people from our party. Everyone knows how free we are to make our political decisions; the latest example is the prime ministerial election. Everybody also knows the state of our national sovereignty and independence. So, we have to think about how to achieve national sovereignty. This is the district from where Prithvi Narayan Shah had started unification process of the country and from where we had started first military training for initiating the people’s war. The first martyr of the people’s war also belongs to this district.”

Speaking at an interaction held in Kathmandu today, NC candidate running for the office of Prime Minister Ram Chandra Poudel has said that his candidacy remains valid once the parliamentary session resumes, nepalnews.com writes.

Speaking at a press conference held at the parliamentary party of his party in Singha Durbar, Kathmandu, Chairman of Madheshi Peple’s Rights Forum Upendra Yadav has said that the presentation of the budget by the government sidelining the parliament even when the parliament is in session is the most undemocratic and will complicate the already difficult-to-deal-with politics, he has blamed the government for provoking the incident in the parliament trying to present the budget bullying others and criticized the Maoist legislators for their rowdy behavior, nepalnews.com writes.
