Snowfall Disrupts Regular Life In Jumla And Darchula

December 31, 2013: since morning today, heavy snow has been falling in Jumla and Darchula districts restricting the people from doing their regular daily business, as they could not come out of their homes at the minus eight degree Celsius, according to the RSS news on ‘gorkhapatraonline.com.’

 

The snowfall has caused inconvenience to the people but it would benefit the farmers for the summer crops, according to the District Agriculture Development Office. The snow has been around one foot thick and the snowfall has not stopped, yet.
