General Secretary of NC For Pulling Out Prime Ministerial Candidate

August 21, 2010: speaking at the Reporters Club, today, General Secretary of NC Kul Bahadur Gurung has said that his party should pull out the candidate for a new Prime Minister, as the UCPN-Maoist has agreed to do so; however, other leaders of his party are not for back tracking from the election to a Prime Minister, Nepalnews.com reports.
Mr. Gurung is not the leader of significance and does not hold many followers in the party; so his idea will not be honored at all by any party leaders. Once, he has even said that by virtue of being a senior leader by age and by working in the party he has claimed for the position of a next Prime Minister but none of the party leaders has heeded his claim.
