FNJ Says To Politicians Behave Yourselves

August 11, 2010: in a statement signed by the Chairman of Federation of Nepalese Journalists (FNJ) in Kathmandu, today, the FNJ has said that leader of Tarai Madhesh Democratic Party (TMDP) Ishwor Dayal Mishra has behaved roughly with senior reporter of Nepal Television and member of FNJ Bijaya Barma when Mr. Barma is at the Parliamentary Party (PP) Office of TMDP at 3:00 pm today to collect news about the party; at one point Mr. Mishra has even ordered the security to forcible remove Mr. Barma from the office; the FNJ has condemned such misbehavior of Mr. Mishra and called on all politicians not to repeat such undesirable incidents and urged them to honor the rights of people to information provided by the Interim Constitution of Nepal of 2007 according to the news of ‘THT Online.’
