Possibility Of Completing Peace Process Or Of Violence

February 23, 2012: Speaking at a memorial service of President of All Nepal Writers Association late Ghana Shyam Dhakal in Pokhara yesterday, Chairman of UCPN-Maoist Prachanda has said that the calendar of operation of the army integration will be finalized within a week or so, as the three key political parties are meeting on Thursday; hopefully, the meeting will come up with positive outcome on constitution drafting, peace process and formation of a national consensus government, ‘The Rising Nepal’ of today writes.
Chairman Prachanda has said that the peace process is at a decisive juncture, the days ahead are very crucial as the peace process is heading to conclusion; the political parties have no choice but to remain united for achieving the goal of peace and constitution, ‘The Rising Nepal’ writes.
Prachanda has said that he had requested Ghana Shyam Dhakal for joining in his party around 1983 but did not entertained his requested rather served the party as a writer. Dhakal died in Kathmandu after a motorcycle hit him at Exhibition Road on February 13, 2012 while going to attend a function held to mark the 17th anniversary of the Maoist People’s War.
