MPRF In Favor of CA Poll

“MPRF is always in favor of peace and against anarchist activities. Our party has not reached any consensus on joining hands with other agitating groups,” Jaya Prakash Gupta, co-coordinator of MPRF, said in reference to the Goit, Jwala and other protesting groups, in a press statement. Gupta said that the Forum cadres were not involved in disrupting and obstructing the mass meeting of the seven-party alliance or any other gatherings according to ‘The Rising Nepal’ of January 27, 2008. He also said that the clashes between the cadres of the seven-party alliance and other protesting groups occurred in Janakpur after the SPA leaders gave speech against Madheshis’ interest and spirit. He further stated that the Madheshi People’s Rights Forum (MPRF) has asked its cadres not to join other protesting groups in anarchist activities as the party was in favor of Constituent Assembly (CA) poll.
