Session of Interim Legislature
On Thursday, November 29, the Interim Legislature sat for its winter session after a 10-day recess, and passed the Anti-abduction Bill. During the session, both the NC and the CPN-Maoist legislators enjoyed charging and counter charging the opponents. It went into recess for a day, and would sit again on Sunday, December 02, 2007.
NC legislators condemned the Maoists and its youth wing called the YCL for continuing the forcibly and illegally seizing the government and private property and extorting money from the people.
CPN-Maoist legislators in turn hit hard at the NC legislators stating the NC legislators have been engaged in passing judgment on the Maoists and YCL instead of engaging in resolving the national issues.
