Say ‘No’ To Exit Of UNMIN From Nepal

August 21, 2010: speaking at the face-to-face program held by Reporters Club in Kathmandu today, Politburo member of Unified CPN Maoist Janardan Sharma ‘Pravakar’ has warned of ending the ongoing peace process and pushing the country to conflict if the UNMIN has to leave the country, ‘The Himalayan Times’ reports. “The schedule of peace process should be developed, incorporating in it a timeline for the integration of the combatants by forging political consensus, and the term of UNMIN should be extended accordingly,” said Sharma.
Speaking at he same program, Minister for Peace and Reconstruction Rakam Chemjong has said that Nepalis can do the job of UNMIN through the consensus politics, ‘The Himalayan Times’ reports. However, the political leaders are in no mood to work on the consensus politics.
