Fired Minister Kushvaha and Administered Oath Of Office to Sukla

February 25, 2010: after the international community including multi-lateral donor agencies has threatened to pull out of the education sector if Minister for Education Kushvaha continues the office despite the widespread corruption, then the mother party called Terai Madhesh Democratic Party (TMDP) has called back Minister for Education Ramchandra Kushvaha stating Mr. Kushvaha has not been able to manage his ministry properly causing mismanagement of various sectors of education provoking complaints from the party cadres of various levels. So, the TMDP has replaced Ramchandra Kushvaha with Sarbendra Nath Sukla.
Sarbendra Nath Sukla has taken the oath of office of Minister for Education from Prime Minister Madhav Nepal at the presidential residence in presence of President Dr Ram Baran Yadav and Vice-President Permananda Jha on February 24, 2010.
