By KTM Metro Reporter in Kathmandu
The state-run newspaper ‘Gorkhapatra’ of August 12, 2009 has reported that currently in India in preparation for the visit of the Nepalese Prime Minister, Nepalese Foreign Minister Sujata Koirala has found in the meeting with the Indian leaders that they are willing to provide Nepal with the assistance in the projects such as construction of Mail roads, Cleaning of the Bagmati River, Tanakpur-Mahendranagar Road Construction and construction of power lines from Nepalese Dhalkebar to Indian Muzafarpur.
However, the Indian newspapers have reported that the Indian leaders have been talking about the extradition treat with Nepal and the peace process in Nepal. They have shown their concern about the peace process in Nepal.
It has been the tradition of the Indian leaders speaking up about the Indian cooperation on the development of Nepal whenever Nepalese Prime Minister visits India. They have similarly promised former Prime Minster Prachanda for taking up various projects but they forgot all sorts of promises made to the Nepalese Prime Minister soon after the Prime Minister returned to Nepal. Once former Prime Minster Prachanda has even publicly complained about the Indian leaders doing nothing about the promises they have made to him while he was in India.
