Indian Encroachment on Nepalese Territory

The state-run newspaper ‘Gorkhapatra’ of August 30, 2009 has reported that Indians have built 54 houses and shacks in the Nepalese territory in Damak of Jhapa district, Eastern Nepal. They have even beaten the Nepalese police. The Indian Border Security Force has been protecting the Indians encroaching on and living in the Nepalese land. The Indian Border Security Force has been making unnecessary troubles to the Nepalis living in the Nepalese territory in the Nepal-India border areas. Those Indians have been preparing for living in those areas permanently. They have removed the border pillars for building their houses and shacks.
