Enhanced Security Checks Along Nepal-India Border

July 14, 2011: following the Mumbai blasts, the UP government has increased the surveillance in the areas bordering Nepal, and has put the security force on alert. Security checks have enhanced. The border police have patrolling the border areas.
In the past, some terrorists have used Nepal as a transit area for going to India. The open border between Nepal and India makes them easy to cross over the border to India.
