Sujata for Reviving Constitution of 1990

Addressing an interaction event at the Reporters Club, Kathmandu on Saturday, November 17, 2007, central leader of Nepali Congress Sujata Koirala said that the Constitution of Nepal of 1990 should be revived to resolve the current problems faced by the country, according to the Nepalnews.com sd Nov 18 07. She said that reviving the 1990 statute without the King's power and authority and making the provisions in it for accommodating the Maoists is the need of the hour. The April Movement of 2006 ended the validity of the Constitution of Nepal of 1990 and gave birth to the Interim Constitution of 2007.
